Con Season

Wed Jul 22, 2009, 6:34 PM
So Convention Season is just about wrapping up, with ConnectiCon about a week from today.

Otakon was alright, but I doubt I'll be going back next year.

And onto ConnectiCon!

I have postcards and business cards printed out, so be sure to come find me! Let me know if you'll be there. I'll be roving about in a few costumes.

BT from .hack//sign
Crane from Kung Fu Panda
Suki from Avatar

Possibly Sakura from Tsubasa, and also possibly Meg from Hercules. We shall see. =]

Anyway, I've been trying to update my Cosplay.com account, so check it out here - [link]

Also check out and follow me on Twitter ( [link] ) or Facebook ( [link] )

Hey all, just got back from Anime Boston last night.

The convention itself was pretty lame, there wasn't a lot of stuff going on. I dressed as BT from .hack//sign on Friday, regular Suki from Avatar on Saturday, and Fire Nation Suki on Sunday. I'm really looking for photos of me wearing the BT one, but I haven't seen any yet so let me know if you do by some chance.

The Avatar meetups were fun, spent a lot of time talking to people (which led to a lot of silly photos with my mouth open). The Masquerade was alright, so was Cosplay Chess. They made me look forward to ConnectiCon haha.

I didn't take any photos, but I will be buying a point and shoot camera soon, for convention photos since my Nikon is too big/heavy to want to carry it around there.

For those wondering, I have been willed into attending Otakon this year with my awesome group of CT friends. So I WILL be there. I am officially saying it. If anyone is thinking of flying there from Boston, please let me know. I'm looking for someone to travel with.

I will also be at ConnectiCon on July 31st-August 2nd. I am very excited, as I always am for Connecticon! =]

Cosplay plans:
Otakon:
BT (.hack//sign)
Suki (Avatar) I'll probably bring a few.
Viper (Kung Fu Panda) Human Version, to accompany my friend's Tigress

ConnectiCon:
Otakon: BT (.hack//sign)
Suki (Avatar) I'll probably bring a few.
Probably some Disney costume. =]
Maybe Viper, too.

Let me know if you'll be going!

Progress!

Hey, all.

NYCC was good times, with the highlights being watching the last Futurama movie before it was released, and seeing the first 50 minutes of Up!, which will open sometime in May. It was a good trip, and I got back safe and sound.

Now, I'm planning on attending Anime Boston in May, and ConnectiCon on July 31st-August 2nd. I will also hopefully be attending Otakon, but I am not sure. My question is, will you be attending/cosplaying? And if you are, would you be interested in having some photos done by me? I am, of course, always interested in money, but I'm not sure if I should charge. Please let me know what you think! You're not committing or anything. =P I'd just like to know your opinions.

I have a few examples in my gallery of what cosplay photography I've done.

Thanks!

Hey, all!

I'll be at NYCC on Feb. 6th-8th! I'm not sure what I'll be cosplay as, except for Saturday when I will be at the Avatar cosplay meet-up as Suki from Avatar, in her costume from the Finale episode.

Once again, if you're interested in prints, I could possibly get them to you there! Let me know!

Other than that, I've been hard at work in classes and other stuff, and I haven't had much to post here. I hope to have more to share with you guys soon!
